This patient presents with a prominent lower jaw. He also has a shallow midface, and therefore, treatment was performed by advancing upper face but keeping the lower jaw where it is. The decreased projection in his lower jaw was achieved by independently moving the chin to a more posterior position. This strategy maximizes soft tissue support resulting in a normal inclusion as well as optimal soft tissue support as the patient continues to age.
