This patient’s concern was the large upper lip that showed the pink portion of the mucosa at rest. He desired a lip reduction to restore the proper proportion to his lips.
The lip lift shortens the distance from the nose to the bottom of the upper lip. This results in a fuller upper lip and a more youthful appearance showing the teeth with the lips relaxed.
