Chin Narrowing Photos - Case #1879

This patient had multiple previous chin operations, which were all done with an implant at outside hospitals. She felt her chin was too wide at the base. To achieve her cosmetic goals and restore support of her soft tissue, the implant was removed and an osseous genioplasty was performed. Repositioning the chin advances and lengthens it to achieve proper facial proportion and ideally support the soft tissue. This result cannot be achieved with an implant.
